Successful Tag Day Raises $5,018.33to Support Seniors Turning little paper tags into money to support local programs for seniors is the order of the day for Tag Day at Community Care for Seniors. The total raised at the one-day event was $5,018.33.2026 marks 42 consecutive years that Community Care has held a Tag Day in The County.“A total of 63 amazing volunteers collected money and interacted with the public during the event. Wii Bowling Returns and It’s a Hit  Here at Community Care for Seniors, we offer a variety of programs that support the needs and interests of seniors through exercise classes, game afternoons, and a wide range of social activities. However, we have one program that doesn’t quite fit into just one category. This “jack-of-all-trades” program provides participants with light physical activity, a healthy dose of friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to socialize, laugh, and to have fun. Open Houses in The County

Open Houses in the County Over the month of June, we had four open houses across the County in honour of Seniors’ Month in Ontario. We used this opportunity to not only get out into the different communities to share what resources and supports we have to offer, but we also used this as our chance to get to know more community members. We talked with some members of the Hiller community about the different fitness classes we have to offer and how useful Chair Yoga can truly be.
