Lynn, one of our dedicated volunteers at Community Care, shares her experience with us:
“I volunteer to give back to the community and feel grateful for my health and well-being. Helping others during times of need is my reward. I love making clients laugh, whether I’m processing payments or assisting them with resources. The reception area is always busy with phone calls, messages, and filing, but the staff is always appreciative of the work done. They’re engaging and I enjoy catching up with them.
I’ve been volunteering here for almost two years and love starting my week with a shift at Community Care for Seniors!”
Lynn also spearheaded and a volunteer of the Social Bridge every Tuesday at The County Seniors’ Centre.
