Funding

The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association is partly funded, for some of its services, by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care through the South East Local Health Integration Network (SE LHIN). The remaining 40% of the annual budget is generated through client fees and the fundraising efforts of the Foundation. It is only through the on-going, generous support of individuals through donations, bequests and other forms of planned giving that the Community Care Foundation can provide the required dollars to the Association to help seniors live at home.

Community Care also holds fundraising events each year such as Tag Day, raffles and an auction. Many local contributions are also made each year by service clubs, businesses, and community groups.

Community Care is a not-for profit, charitable organization and issues income tax receipts.
