A booth at the Women's Institute Art and Craft Sale on Aug. 3 will provide a chance to view the three prints and purchase raffle tickets.

First prize is a framed, signed and numbered, artist proof print by A.J. Casson titled Diamond Lake, valued at $850. Casson, who was invited to join the Group of Seven in 1926, painted the scenery of rural south-central Ontario and landscapes of areas such as Algonquin Park and Bancroft.

Old Maple, a framed print, signed and numbered, by contemporary artist Murray Stewart Smith, is second prize in the raffle. It has a value of $400.

Third prize is Scottish Flowers, a limited edition print by Franklin Arbuckle, matted but not framed, valued at $500.

Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. As well as the booth at the Aug. 3 craft sale, they are available at the Community Care office at the Armoury in Picton, and at the SideStreet Gallery, 264 Main St. in Wellington. They will also be for sale during the Milford Fair on Sept 16.
