Community Care’s Christmas Memory Tree

While enjoying a holiday night out with family and friends, take a moment to hang an ornament on The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors’ Christmas Memory Tree located at the Blumen Garden Bistro, 649 Hwy 49 in Picton. Amongst the beautiful holiday glitter, the Memory Tree stands to collect ornaments that you can hang in a quiet moment of reflection and celebration of the life of someone you wish to remember in this season. You are invited to make a donation to Prince Edward Community Care, choose an ornament and place it on the Memory Tree. Your donation will help seniors live at home. Gift Ideas at Community Care

This Christmas you can honour someone you love with a donation to Prince Edward Community Care for Seniors. A Christmas card acknowledging your donation will be sent to the recipient. Other unique gift ideas include; “Seniors

Sing Along with Mike” CD for $10, and gift certificates, which are available for all programs and services. A gift of Meals on Wheels®, foot care, or Seniors’ Dinners, would bring smiles on Christmas Day. Drop by the office at 206 Main St., The Armoury, Picton or call 613-476-7493.

Bloomfield Christmas Seniors’ Dinner - Wednesday, December 3^rd

Prince Edward Community Care is holding a Seniors’ Dinner at the Bloomfield United Church Hall, on Wednesday, December 3^rd at 12 noon. The meal is catered by The Wooden Spoon. Come out and celebrate Christmas with your friends and neighbours, enjoy a holiday meal with turkey, dressing and a Christmas sing-a-long with The Opoka's . This is a great opportunity to get out and have a nutritious hot meal. The cost is $7.50. Attendance is by reservation only. Call 613-476-7493 to reserve your place by no later than Monday at 12:00 noon. Bring your own plate, cup and cutlery.

This is a great opportunity to get out and have a nutritious hot meal. Attendance is by reservation only. The cost is $7.50. Office closed from 1 to 4:30 pm - Thursday, December 18^th

The Prince Edward Community Care office will be closed for a Christmas event on Thursday, December 18^th from 1 to 4:30 pm.

Prince Edward Community Care Holiday Office Hours

The Prince Edward Community Care office will be closed Wednesday, December 24^th at 12 noon, and will reopen on Monday, December 29^th at 9:00 am. The office will close again Thursday, January 1^st, reopening Friday, January 2^nd at 9:00 am. The office will operate with reduced staff between Christmas & New Years and will not be assisting with forms during that time. Meals on Wheels will be delivered as usual throughout the holidays.

Community Care’s Thrift Shop Holiday Hours

Prince Edward Community Care’s Thrift Shop will be closed on Thursday, December 25^th and Friday, December 26^th and will reopen as usual on Saturday, December 27^th at 10:00 am.
